So this will patch both Eve and Cedgea's software on the Linux client machine?
No. Only the cedega/cider side.
Originally by: Red Rabin International keyboard layout, but no font fix? Station texture fixes but no space texture fixes? Maybe these other issues will be better with the latest Cider?
Please send us a bug report about the above mentioned issues you're experiencing and we'll look into it.
Originally by: Red Rabin Thanks for giving the Mac client some love. Moar Prz!
There will be more!
Originally by: LtCol Killgore does this meen i won't get flickering & texture graphics bugs on my mac book?
The MacBook isn't officially supported, because it lacks a high performance graphics card. This could be the reason why the you get the flickering.
Originally by: Altaree hmm, not 1.1.3?
Since this does not include any update to the EVE Online client itself, there is no need to call it 1.1.3.

Please note that the Mac update might be slightly delayed, but should be available before 14.00 GMT today. This is because it is the first time we're using the Mac auto-patcher in the production environment.

If nothing happens you should already have the new update. To check if you have it:
1. Open finder 2. Go to applications 3. Click the EVE Online app and "Show Package content" 4. Open the Contents folder 5. Open the file Version.plist - In the document you should see "CiderBuild" and then a number afterwards. If you have 1823, then you have the new version. If you have 1481 you have the old version.

Hi all.
We're looking into the cause of this issue on mac at the moment.
Those of you who are experiencing issues, please do the following:
1. Go here: https://bugs.eve-online.com/newbugreport.asp 2. Write a detailed description of what the problem is. Crashes? How often? Lower fps? How low? 3. Add what version of OS X you are running 4. Add what graphics card you are running 5. Start the system profiler and save it to an xml file 6. Zip it and attach to the bug report

That doesn't address the problem that I've got whereby the version number of Eve is 64451 yet the cider build is still 1481 not that I particularly want a broken cider install. What am I supposed to do to get my install back to a consistent state ?
The cider version number is unrelated to what EVE build number you have. You can have both 1823 or 1481 but still run the latest version of EVE 64451. As for why you cannot update is because we have temporary disabled the patch, while a fix for Cider 1823 is being worked on.

Originally by: Nuramori for those of us with OSX 10.5.5 that would LIKE the patch, can we manually download it, much like those that want to revert can do so?
Originally by: shiktar in the full build there is only 1481. always the same problem. I hope that you will find a fix today CCP
We will release the new version as soon as possible. As mentioned on this page. The FPS issue has been identified and fixed.

No they don't, because they do not have anything to do with each other.
Quote: The EVE Online: Empyrean Age 1.1.2 - Mac/Linux additions patch will be deployed this Wednesday, 08 October during the normal Tranquility downtime.
Quote: A long overdue and much needed change will be put in place with the Wednesday, 15 October 2008 patch. Ghost Training, the continuous skill gain on accounts in an inactive or expired state - will no longer function after Wednesday, 15 October 2008.
